"Always, always, always work-up to your working weight." I find myself writing this note weekly to the members of The Barbell Collective, my online strength and conditioning program for women. Warm-ups and work-up sets can feel like a waste of time but they're not. I often find myself reminding clients NOT to skip them. Today's episode explains the utility of a warm-up and the differences between movement prep, work-up sets, and working sets.
