The Confidence Project

Refreshinlgy honest & helpful conversations for fitness-minded women exploring body, business, and the human experience.

Nov 27, 2018

Women thrive off of learning empowering tools for three things specifically:

their body, their relationships, and their money.

Speaking about money mindset is actually one of my biggest passions, and in today's episode, I talk about an interesting theory I read about in a book I just finished reading: "Profit First" by Mike Michaelowics.

The overarching premise is this: the more you have, the more you waste. In his book, he is strictly speaking to business owners and teaching them his own system on how to take a profit from your business. But it got me thinking: there is truth to this idea, regardless if you're a business owner or not!

Ever get to payday, feel like the richest woman in all of the land, and then before you know it, you're left feeling broke again and reliving your story about how you have no money, your job sucks, and you're so broke?

I'll be the first to tell you that it's not a money issue, it's a mindset issue!

What about with our time? Ever notice you get SO MUCH LESS DONE on the days when you're less scheduled? Suddenly, the day gets away from you and you have no idea how you spent the last 12 hours? Yep, same thing- you're left with the same old story that you're stressed and have no time.

But is it a time issue? Or a lack of intention and mindfulness issue when it comes to how you use your time?

We do the same thing with our health- MANY women (and men) feel healthy and capable... so, why exercise? Until one day, you realize your body has aged and slowed down, things hurt and ache, and you wish you wouldn't have wasted so many years taking ALL of that health and ability for granted.

I'm telling you- the more we have, the more we waste!
Tune in to dive more in depth about all of this and what you can do about it!
