I'm telling you- I get weirder and weirder with each passing episode. And I liiiike it! 

Today, we're talking about intrinsic vs. extrinsic motivation, and which one you NEED in order to be able to adopt a healthy lifestyle once and for all.

There are NUMEROUS studies out there that also support the fact that exercise has been proven to help reduce anxiety and depression. This article is just one of those things.

Women come to me all of the time opening up about their body image issues. Almost daily.
I LOVE this conversation because it allows me to talk about what I'm most passionate about-- how the fuck are we supposed to love our body if we're not 100% where we want to be? Maybe we're not as lean as we want to be right now, maybe we're 50 pounds away from our goal weight, maybe we remember how we used to feel 5 years ago before we had kids, and we so desperately want to feel that way again.

What if I told you that FEELING that way, the way you once did before, actually has nothing to do about what your body looks like right now?

In this episode, I talk about how it's similar to the house you're living in and the car you're driving. Weird, right?

Bleak- I know- and not *quite* what I'm talking about today- but, sort of. 

Your self-identification can either help you or hurt you.

Do you consider yourself the chubby girl? Because that's who you were 20 years ago? What about now?
Or do you consider yourself a fit, confident badass?

What's the difference? Why does it matter? And how can you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be? I'm talking allllll about it today!

What's the most overlooked and ignored component on the quest to the most confident, strong, and badass lifestyle? 

Sorry to ruin the surprise, but: it's the way in which we speak to ourselves. 

How you talk to yourself determines whether or not you will succeed in the long haul. It determines how you feel- will you feel like a strong badass women the next time you step in the gym? Or a self-hatred-filled, guilty, anxious shell of your highest potential self? Think about it.
