This is an impromptu episode- but it is SO important to me!

Pay no mind to the infographics you will see all over social media that tell us how many calories we need to burn off in order to eat whatever piece of candy we want. 

In this episode, we briefly cover the surface about how to pave the way for guilt-free eating, devoid of the diet mentality. Want some Halloween candy? Go for it. But, do so mindfully and without guilt while still inching closer to your goals. Win-win.

Well, ladies- I've done it. I've managed to say the "F word" more than ever before in an episode- woops! 

This is a no holds barred episode, and I'm throwing it all out there.

First, I answer the question I hear a few times each week:
"When is this supposed to get easier?"

And then-- well, then I go into a tirade about coming to the realization that I cannot *make* anyone want to change their life. There are days, even weeks, where I get down on myself and wonder if I'm making a difference because I work with so many women that I just can't help. On top of those women, are the hundreds, if not thousands of women who I've encountered who I know I *could* help- but they're not ready. This ends up being a pretty personal episode- inside the head of a woman trying to change the world.

If you've followed me for any length of time- you'll know that I don't preach extreme.

If any one diet has a protocol that says "Eat this, not that", I'm out. 
If any one diet has a protocol that says "here is what you CAN eat, here is what you CANNOT eat", I'm out. 

Once the dial is turned too far from center- it's a red flag that it's too extreme- will likely lead to a poor relationship with food, binge eating episodes, and although it may lead to insane weight loss at first- your chances of keeping it off forever are slim to none. 

This is why creating healthy, sustainable, and ENJOYABLE habits are the key to losing weight, without losing your mind, once and for all.

In this episode, I interview one of my life long friends, and have her recall her journey through a few insane diets that she tried.
