You had to see this one coming, right?

Ironically enough, I recorded this episode long before I scrolled social media on this very day only to found what I knew would happen: a local "health coach" is encouraging women to go on a sugar detox from November 1 for 21 days. As she put it, the sugar detox was intentionally set to begin the day after Halloween.

Nothing makes me want to pull my eye brows off one hair at a time.

Here's what you need to know:
Restricting will lead to a binge.
These women will undoubtedly shove their face with candy on Halloween because they simply are anticipating the deprivation that lies ahead.

What will this lead to?

An eventual binge on sugar (and any other foods they enjoy) sometime in the future.

If stuff like this worked, why do I have a sneaking suspicion that they'll feel the need to go on another sugar detox next year? How's that workin' for ya? ;) Not so hot, right?

Exactly.
